The Museum Pass Program
Thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Abbott Library, the Museum Pass Program enables patrons to visit New England attractions. It’s a great way for friends and family to be life long learners by visiting places that provide culture, history and other opportunities to learn. The Friends will reimburse admission charges to any museum in New England.
We also have museum passes for the following local museums:
- Free general admission for up to 4 people; children 2 and under receive free admission and do not count towards the limit.
- Not valid for fee based programs/events. $50 replacement fee for lost membership card.
- 50% off general admission for 2 adults; children 17 and under are admitted free with accompanying adults.
- Not Valid for “Just for Members” events or tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright House
- Free admission for up to 2 adults and accompanying household children under age 18 to the John Hay Estate at The Fells, Main House and Grounds.
- Not valid for programs or events for which an additional fee applies such as Fairy Festival, Hay Day, or Christmas at the Fells.
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center –
- Free admission for up to 4 people. Children 2 years old and under are always free.
- Planetarium shows are $7 per ticket.
- Not valid for members only events but can be used for Super Stellar Fridays.
- Free admission for up to 2 adults & 3 children ages 6-18
- Not Valid for special events
- Free admission for 2 guests. Kids under 6 are free.
- Not valid for workshops, guided tours, or special events.
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center –
- Good for 4 tickets at $13 each
VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) –
- Good for 4 tickets at $5 each
These passes must be picked up at the library and can be checked out on a first come, first served basis up to one day in advance of your museum visit.
